Designers to showcase work at Voyeur

By David Gordon

THE focus will be on fashion in Byron Bay tomorrow night (Friday) with the staging of the popular annual fashion extravaganza, Voyeur Byron’s Fashion Expose.

Twelve local designers will compete for the title of Voyeur Designer Of The Year and for the Outfit Of The Night award. And more than 20 women and male models will strut the catwalk to showcase each designer’s collection. One model will be named Face of Voyeur 2011.

To be held at the Byron Bay Community Centre theatre, doors open at 6.30pm. The red carpet will lead directly to a free glass of sparking wine.

The community centre cafe will sell food in the courtyard, and roving entertainers will set the mood for the burlesque-themed event.

The catwalk show kicks off at 7.30pm and the Mistress of Ceremonies is Mae Wilde.

Tickets cost $30/$28 and are available from www.byroncentre.com.au or phone 6685 6807. This event is proudly supported by David Gordon.
